This site was written by Judy O'Connell, an Education Consultant in Library and Web 2.0 with Catholic Education from Sydney, Australia.She is a member of the Educational Board of School Libraries Worldwide and on the Advisory Board of Horizon K-12 Project, which focuses on emerging technology and its application for K-12 education. She has compiled a comprehensive list of different technologies and new Web 2.0 tools for the classroom and library such as Wetpaintwikis, Tumblr, Flickr, and Glogster.

This site has a phenomenal amount of information and sites to check out. There is so much that at times it becomes overwhelming. It really does not focus on any one area of technology but gives the reader a chance to try many new Web 2.0 tools. It has great usability for the classroom teachers of all levels.

This site is written by a second grade teacher, Patti Harju, who has taught over 20 years. She shows ways to use technology in second grade and how she incorporates it into her curriculum. She shows practical uses of the Web 2.0 tools and gives her insights on what they can do for your classroom. Some of the tools tht she uses are Glogster, Skype, and class wikis.

This site has so many practical applications to the classroom and it show the reader through videos, and pictures how technology is used in her classroom. It is written by a second grade teacher but any elementary teacher could use this site to increase their awareness of the uses of technology in the classroom.

The editor is Sue Waters, who works for Edublogs as a Community Facilitator. She also facilitated professional development workshops on elearning and web 2.0 technologies. This site helps educational bloggers with emerging technology in education. It is a how-to site that gets into the meat of the problem and helps to sort out the difficulties in putting together and or using blogs. Some of the topics that are addressed are setting up and using widgets, using images, and mistakes made by bloggers.

This is a great place to come when you are stuck! It has literally answers any question that you have about blogging and breaks it down so the user can figure out how to use it properly. She gives tips and ideas to go beyond the basic usage and really make it pop in your classroom. It is very helpful for the novice blogger.
